Using Dynamic Display

Dynamic Display offers a new way of capturing damage in OnePad, with a more realistic representation of the vehicle. With Dynamic Display you can make model option selections directly in the Model Options tab. Importantly, when you hover the mouse cursor over a model option, OnePad updates the vehicle graphic, showing the position of relevant parts. This means that the vehicle graphic always matches the vehicle being assessed and enables you to determine which parts belong to which model option. For Dynamic Display models, OnePad shades parts according to their material properties. Click here to read more information about material properties.

Dynamic Display also features easier zone navigation, zone colour coding to show in which zones parts have been selected for repair and dedicated quick zones for faster damage capturing.

Starting OnePad With Dynamic Display

When you start your capturing session, the system will ask you to select an assessment type from the Quick Assessment dialog box.

In this dialog box, you can also make a new sub-model selection and model option selections. To select a new sub-model, click the Sub-Model tab and select the option button for the desired sub-model. To make model option selections, select one of the model option category tabs and select the option button for the desired model option.

  1. Click:

    to perform a repair assessment.

    to perform a service assessment.

    to perform a glass assessment.

hail calc to perform a hail assessment.

  2. Click OK to confirm the assessment type and sub-model / model option selections.

Notes:

- Dynamic Display is not available for all vehicle models.

- The configuration of the system determines which assessment types are displayed in the Quick Assessment dialog box. Furthermore, in some configurations, the assessment type is preset. If this is the case, the Quick Assessment dialog box will not display. For example, if the assessment type is set to hail, the system will only display the Auda Hail zone. In this case, you will only be able to capture damage for vehicle body parts. If the assessment type is set to glass, the system will only display the Auda Glass zone. In this case, you will only be able to capture damage for glass parts.

- For some assessment types, OnePad restricts access to zones, tabs and parts. For example, if you select service assessment, you will not be able to select the Zone Navigation tab, Assemblies tab or Navigation tabs. In the Standard Positions tab, you will only be able to add those standard positions displayed in the AudaMaintenance tab.
