Capturing Dent Repairs

To capture dent damages you must enter the number of work units required to repair the damage. You can do this manually or use a calculator.

Note: The Enter WU dialog box shows the number of work units per hour configured for your organisation.

Entering Work Units Manually

  1. Click the desired vehicle zone from the Zone Navigation tab.
  2. Select a part.
  3. Click repair method I.
  4. Enter the number of work units.
  5. Click:

    - OK to confirm.

    - Cancel to close the dialog box.

Using the Dent Repair Calculator - Non-Plastic Parts

  1. Click the desired vehicle zone from the Zone Navigation tab.
  2. Select a non-plastic part.
  3. Click repair method I.
  4. Click Dent repair calc.
  5. Define the extent of damage:
    • Enter the extent of the damage in decimetres squared (dm2) in the dm2 field. Remember that you can also use the calculator pad to do this by clicking calculator.
    • Select an option from the Difficulty section.
    • Select an option from the Preparation time section.
  6. Click:

    - OK to accept. The Enter WU dialog box displays the calculated work units. If necessary, you can use the calculator pad to overwrite this value.

    - Cancel to close the dent repair calculator without calculating work units and Cancel once again to close the Enter WU dialog box.

Using the Plastic Repair Calculator - Only for Plastic Parts

Note: The plastic repair calculator is only available if you have selected AZT as the paint method.

  1. Click the desired vehicle zone from the Zone Navigation tab.
  2. Select a plastic part.
  3. If available, click repair method I.
  4. Click Plastic Repair.
  5. Select a difficulty level: Easy, Standard, Difficult.
  6. Click:

    - OK to accept.

    - Cancel to close the plastic repair calculator without calculating work units and Cancel once again to close the Enter WU dialog box.
