Viewing Parts in More Detail
You can view parts displayed in the Vehicle Drawings Panel in more detail. This is particularly useful for identifying small parts in complex vehicle zones such as the engine.
- Click
from the Toolbar. The button changes to 
and shows that the zoom is active. - Position the cursor in the Vehicle Drawings Panel, click and hold down the left mouse button and then pull the mouse across the area you wish to view in more detail. You can view an example of this by clicking here.
- Release the left mouse button. The part or area is displayed in more detail.
- To view parts in further detail, follow steps 1 to 3 above.
- Click
to return to the original drawing size.
Notes:
- Whilst viewing the part or area in more detail, you can use your mouse to pan around. Simply click and hold the left-mouse button and drag the mouse in the direction you wish to pan.
- When you are viewing vehicle parts, you can hide the Zones Panel by double-clicking inside the Vehicle Drawings Panel. This is particularly useful if you are working with a pen computer. Double-clicking once again inside the panel restores it.
- If you do not wish to hide the Zones Panel completely you can resize it. Simply position the mouse between the Zones Panel and Vehicle Drawings Panel. The mouse cursor changes to 
. Now, click and hold the left-mouse button and drag mouse to the left to decrease the width or to the right to increase the width.
