Configuring User Settings
- Click
. The Settings dialog box displays. - Click the User Settings tab.
- To enable an option, select the tickbox for the option you wish to enable and click OK to close the Settings dialog box.
- Left-hand support - This option allows you to switch the position of the Zones panel from the left, which is the default position, to the right.
- Flip vertically - This option allows you to switch the position of the Repair Panel from the bottom, which is the default position, to the top.
- Floating repair panel - This option allows you to drag and drop the Repair Panel. See Dragging and Docking the Repair Panel.
- Enable material warning for high solid steel and alloy magnesium - Enable this option if you wish to be informed if high solid steel and alloy parts are not coloured differently from other part materials for the vehicle model.
- Always prompt for H and U - If you enable this option, the system will always prompt you, when you select certain repair methods, to click Yes to select an additional repair method (H or U) or No to not select one. In the prompt, if you select Do not show this message again, the option will be cleared in the User Settings tab.
- Show warning paint model option missing - If you enable this option, when you click OK >> to close the Model Options dialog box without having selected a paint model option, the system will always prompt you to click Yes to close the Model Options dialog box or No to return to it so that you can select a paint model option. In the prompt, if you select Do not show this message again, the option will be cleared in the User Settings tab.
- Activate Fast Capturing - This option allows you to set defaults for a particular side of the vehicle. Once set, the system will apply the repair/paint method to every part you subsequently click and always for the correct side of the vehicle. See Using Fast Capturing.
- Font Size - You can choose font size for the text displayed in the various Zones tabs (Zone Navigation tab, Assemblies tab, Vehicle Photos, Variants, More Parts, Options), the Standard and Non-Standard Positions tabs and the Checklist. The font size range is 12 to 28.
- GUI Startup Mode - You can choose from one of three startup modes. Info Only, Info and Times and No Detailed Progress Information. Any changes to the default, Info Only, will take effect when you next access OnePad.
- Enable Autosave every- Select this option and drag the slider to the desired number of minutes to automatically save your capturing session. The default is 10 minutes. See Saving Your Work.
